What is Auxilium?The Latin word Auxilium translates to support. The student-run program at Penn provides tutoring for the following children and adolescents:
1. Those who have or are currently receiving medical care for a disease or injury 2. Those with loved ones (parents, grandparents, guardians, siblings) receiving medical care for a disease or injury |
What We DoPartnering with different organizations on the east coast, we provide free, virtual, and flexible K-12 tutoring by connecting children with students from the University of Pennsylvania. In order to be eligible to tutor, each Penn student completes monthly training sessions with lessons on emotional support, tutoring techniques, online learning strategies, and situational awareness. |

How Does the Process Work?
1. Signup through this link or send us an email (include the student's name, grade, tutoring needs, etc.)
2. We will reply within 24 hours and place you with an eligible tutors
3. We will coordinate the first tutoring session with the tutor and student via zoom

Auxilium Tutoring does not employ any of the peer tutors nor is it responsible for the conduct of any of the peer tutors. Auxilium Tutoring is only an Internet-based platform for students seeking peer tutoring. Volunteer tutors and students requesting peer tutoring mutually agree not to use Auxilium Tutoring to engage in academic dishonesty (e.g., completing assignments, writing papers, taking tests on someone’s behalf, or work completion in violation of conduct policies of a school or academic institution) or other misconduct.
